A brief preview of the highlights of the 65th Auction

Among the highlights of our 65th Auction in June 2026 are coins from Brunswick and the House of Welf, including rare 17th-century Löser issues of outstanding quality and particular historical significance. The offering is complemented by banknotes from German colonies and overseas territories, including issues of the German-Asiatic Bank in Peking and Tsingtau, as well as notes from German East Africa. A fine selection of high-quality pocket watches—among them complicated hunter-case watches, gold pocket watches, and individual items by renowned makers—completes this section.

The philatelic section offers material of international standing: from the specialized collection “Overseas – Early Issues,” featuring classics from Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas, to the collection of the Berlin pneumatic post (1876–1916), and outstanding individual items such as the rare Masaryk Mourning Souvenir Sheet of 1938 with the handstamp overprint “We are free!”. Important items from Switzerland, mixed frankings of the German Reich, and further international rarities underline the scope and depth of this auction.

The auction will take place at the premises of the auction house in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Collectors have the opportunity to place bids in person on site, online, in writing, or by telephone.
